This patented system from EDI Tooling Systems installs in less than five minutes to convert a CNC lathe chuck into a precision-length collet system using readily available 5C collets. Also available for some chucks in a 16C collet configuration.

The Center Drill Holder
It gets into spaces that others can't even begin to. Because the holder is configured and located in the lathe turret like an OD turning tool, the only thing protruding in front of the turret face is the tip of the center drill.
